Happy Valentines Day!

Yesterday (Friday) I had a Valentines Tea. (basicly a tea party) And Cassie and Chantel came over. We made valentines cards, decorated cookies and drank some tea. It was really fun. But then we decided to have a photo shoot :) ( it was a bit little kidish) But it was Really fun! We first dressed up as goth, and but on SOOO much make-up. Then we did summer time, and Cassie had a bikini on, and I had a dress and a bikini and Chantel just had a dress on. We looked really cool. Ok, maybe not. Then it was evening wear, and we dressed up in fancy dresses. Cassie was dancing, and we were listening to Sexy Back (because Cassie was suppost to Dance.) Anyways, we just had a blast. I wish I could post the pictures, but oh well.



But now I cannot find the Camera. I remember putting it down on the table, and I cannot find it ANYWHERE! I have been looking for a whole day and a night, but still I cannot find it!
I suppost it will turn up somewhere. .. Eventually.

So I don't actually have to blog, but if I do, I get extra credit. So why not? I'm thinking my mark could be a little higher. I really wanted my overall average to be higher. So if my LA mark is as possible high as it can go (even though it can't get much better) I will be even higher.
I have noticed that I have blogged A LOT!! I have 30+ posts... I think... Yeah, thirty four or something.
Anyways...
I have ran out of thing to blog about. I really dislike it when that happens.


I bought my Jig shoes (Highland Dance) The Jig is a dance when the women are chasing the leprechauns away because they stole their laundry. It's super cool to watch because you use your heels. The shoes actually have heels. (Not that I need to be any taller) So I ordered the dress and I bought my shoes. They're Red. And I have a green Dress. The red dress didn't look the greatest because it was the wrong color. Anyways, I'm really exited to be dancing it. It is super fun.
Except I jab myself in the heel all the time.

YC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AHHHHH!! I am sooo pumped, but it's really hard to type how pumped you are!!!!! I seriously could scream!!!!!

Well, you might be wondering why I am so exited. Or what YC is if you read my title... It is a Youth Confrence in Edmonton (Rexal Place) and there is a whole bunch of guest speakers and Bands. It's HUGE! There is so many people. And it is so much fun.

So my youth group all board a school bus and we drive down to Edmonton. It really isn't too long of a bus ride because we are all just so pumped. The bands are amazing and I screamed so much that I couldn't hardley speak the next day. But I did because I had to scream again for the next day of rockin out.

For lunch we usually walk to safe-way, and last year we stopped in a park to eat. Then this crazy lady (on drugs) creeped us out soo bad. It was scary. Some one stole her dog and she was going to kill them because she was angry.

Anyways, it is a blast, and I cannot wait till next year. Exept this year my favorite 2 bands aren' t coming (Skillet and LeeLand). But it should be great anyways.

I was at Church this morning. It was very interesting. I got challenged by my pastor to proclaim my religion some how. What better way to do that than on my blog? It's made for your opinion and thoughts. So I don't know how to exactly "proclaim" it other than saying "I'm a Christian". The most toughest part of his challenge was how I would say it. It's not like I'm shy of saying it, it's just opportunities don't pop up every day. Anyways I was sitting in Church, listening to the sermon and he was talking about how much joy people had, but they don't really have it now. After Jesus was hung on the cross, and rose form the dead, his disciples went on preaching. So this government went after them and put them in jail. They beat them up, and told them not to teach about Jesus, and let them go. The moment they got out they rejoiced because they were so happy for following god. They just went back to making more disciples. I, uforchanatly, don't think I would be rejoicing after that. I think you would have to have amazing faith. I think it's possible for people to be that faithful, but after that, rejoicing might not be first on my mind. But it's amazing reading how faithful and strong people were in the lord. I have to try my very hardest to even come close to the people in the bible. But I also think those were the times. They would give anything for their lord. I think that is fantastic for them though.

School

So I am sitting here at school wondering "What Am I going to Blog about?" .. I am almost completely out of ideas. AHH ... Well my band got a name change to Enchanted Candy. And for LA we had to make a CD case with poems instead of songs. So what a great way to get our first CD!
We worked Very hard on it, and we just for our marks back. Amazingly, we got a 98%! I am really exited because it will boost my mark up. We also have a science test coming up in a week. It is my chemistry final and I really need to work hard on studying. But I really don't want to study. Science is my worst subject, and sometimes I have troubles paying attention. (but I think everyone does) .... Well I think I have blogged enough. Talk to ya later ! :)

No School... almost

Hmm.. I have no idea what to blog about. We are back at school. And already the buses have been cancelled. Mine was this morning. So my mom drove us into school. I wanted to sleep in but (sadly) she made me get up again. I got an extra twenty minutes of sleep though. 

During Christmas Holidays I was at my Grandmas for a week.  It was fun. I hung out with my cousins. I ran out of time to blog today, so I guess I have to go back to class.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!! .. I hope you all get what you want! I don't really know what I want, but i'm exited.
I didn't acually have to blog over christmas, but I'd be blogging if I had school, so I might as well today.
On christmas day, christmas eve, and Boxing day i'm with family. But on the 28th I'm going to my grandmas. Joel has a tournament for 10 days in Richmond, and my mom and dad are going too, and I cant. So i'm staying back here. (unforchanatly) Joel had a game today and yesterday. Yesterday they won 8-1, and today they LOST 7-2. It was terrible today. Yesterday it was awsome, but today I almost couldn't watch.... Ugh.. but hopefully this tournament would be better. :)

My new favorite song

My new favorite song is "Fall For You" by Secondhand Serenade. I haven't even heard of them but then Joel showed me the song. Before he let me listen he said it would be my new fav, and it was. Go listen to it this very moment. It's on my blog, so read this and listen. I know everyone will love it.
oh yeah, and Desi if you read this, It's MY favorite, so too bad. It's Mine this time.
I really want to play this song on the piano. It is sooo great. Unfortunately, I don't know where I can find the music. But I will try.

An update on my life

Well... I always have troubles with what to blog about. We had the semi-formal dance yesterday. I am really fun. but there wasn't too many people there. I have my piano recital on Monday so I have been playing soo much. I am really nervous because I am still making mistakes on the song, and usually by now I have completely memorised it and am sick and tired of playing it. But no, this song I haven't even memorised it. I think I am freaking myself out because yesterday I played worse, not better. I really need to calm down and just play my music.
In LA we are making a CD insert, and my band ( the Gnarly Pink Heffalumps) have decided that this will be our first CD. And when were famous we will look back at this and it will have many memories. We could publish it and everyone will buy it. People who went to ridgevalley will tell all there friends that they knew the Gnarly Pink Heffalumps. .. We might change our band name by then so not everyone will know us. So back to the La part of this.. we have to each write 3 poem/songs. But I'm not too good at poetry, so this is proving to be difficult and fun. But when Thursday evening comes and we're still not done, it might not be so fun anymore.

Well I FINALLY finished Whuthering Heights. It had a really weird ending. It was expected, but had a funny twist. I'm not gonna say the ending, so you should read it if you can. :)
So now I'm reading Jane Eyre. Another classic. I couldn't decide between Pride and Prejudice and Jane Erye. But I've seen the movie of Pride and Prejudice (it's one of my favorites) so I decided to read Jane Erye. It looks really long. I think it's longer than Whuthering Heights. I hope it won't take so long though.

I've been studying for my learners. When I'm done posting i'll take an online test. I hope i don't fail. I want to make it on my first time. Joel got it on his third, so I can't take that much. I just want it on my first.

My Birthday Again

I had a really fun birthday. I was really busy on Saturday so I had to open my presents on Sunday. And the whole week before I had to look at them sitting on the table. So finally on Sunday I got to open them.
I got a tiara, earrings, a movie, two decorations for my room, and a necklace. It all was really pretty.
Oh, and I got a certificate for a french manicure. I'm really exited to get my nails done. I can't have long nails to play the piano, so during Christmas I'll get them done. :)

Skyler and me made a social movie about a guy who killed a guy in Saudi Arabia, and his sentenced was to be beheaded. So our question was "Should Canadian go by Canadian laws in foreign country or go by the law that country has" so should he have been beheaded? Comment your opinion please.

I think that you should go by Canadian laws. I'm torn though. If we went by Canadian laws we would have less anger because we would know our punishments. But the people in Saudi would be angry because they think the correct punishment to killing someone is death to the killer. They would be very upset if they didn't even make life in prison. What do you think?
Our definition of right and wrong is very different to other peoples.

My Birthday

I am really exited! Only 8 days till my birthday! woo! People keep asking me what I want for my birthday but I don't actually know what I want. Apparently i want so many things that my mom couldn't figure out what to get me.
Don't you just love surprises? I don't even want people to tell me what I'm getting because getting the surprise of the gift is half the fun! Waiting for my birthday is getting really hard though.
I started studying for my learners yesterday evening. But I'm reading so many other books that I don't want to read the study book, I want to read my other ones. Well I better get on it so I can start driving.

In LA i had to pick a quote from a song. So the quote I picked in for Wild Horses and it is

All I want is the wind in my hair
To face the fear but, not feel scared

So this song is talking about is someone who wants to break free, to go agenst the normal.She wants to run free. So my favorite line is that because I love the feeling of wind in my hair. I could stand there feeling it for ever. It feels so cool.
And "face my fears but not feel scared." I hate feeling scared. I hardly ever feel scared, but when I do it's the most terrible feeling.
This song makes me feel very happy. It makes me think of happy memories and I can feel the places she's talking about. I want to be in a green field with the sun shining down on me. the normal.

Highland Dance

So, as many people know, I highland dance. Chantel and I have lessons tonight even. I know about 8 dances. So far my favorite is the Jig. You have to buy special shoes that have heels on them. You wear red and green dresses with red or green shoes. It's origin started when the Scottish ladies were angry that little children stole their laundry so they made an angry dance. I'm still trying to memorise it, but i've learned all the steps.
The first dance I ever learned was the fling. I competed this year four times. First in june/july at Fort St. John, and I got fourth in Flora, and then in Grande Prairie I didn't place. There I competed with Cecile(another Dancer) and Chantel.
In the end of August I wnt down to Calgary and Camrose, and I got two fourths and a third. Next year I can't wait to compete again.
I have two outfits now, a kilt and a national. My kilt color is really pretty. It's real name is Blue McPherson, but it just looks like a medium blue. My vest matches too.

my music

So, yes I did add Beauty and the Beast music to my playlist. I was really happy they had it because I love Beauty and the Beast. You guys should comment on your favorite disney movies. i've even played them on the piano. At the moment I'm playing Aladdin's A Whole New World. It's really pretty. At the moment, I;m playing the piano about forty five minutes to over an hour. I'm gonna take my exams for grade four this year. Ive been laying for about 5 or 6 years.. I can't remember exacly.
I love disney! and the piano ... :) i hope you guys do to.

LA

I had a project in LA and it was to write a story and then rewrite it 7 times, and every time we rewrote it we looked for a different way to fix it. So today was the due date on it and my story was really long so it took me a REALLY long time to write them out. So today at noon I've been running around trying to get it to print. AHH I typed it so I didn't have to keep writing it. Well, it has been quite hard to find my printed piece. GRR So I printed it to the library (Where I was at the moment) and IT WASN'T WORKING! So I printed it again, and it was too the office. So then I printed it to the high school lab and it didn't print. So in the end I asked the office if they had it and they did (THANKFULLY) wow, it was a lot harder that it was suppose to be!

Halloween

So at the moment I am at a party lite party. But they have high speed so I popped on my blog....

I am being an Indian Princess. My auntie has a Sari and bangles because she went to India for three months so she's letting me borrow it. I think I'm going to look pretty sweet. I might even win the contest for best outfit in our class at school. But if you think your going to win, you better tell me so I can take the time to make my costume better.. Just Kidding. I'm just curious on what everyone is being. Well talk to whoever's listening next time I post.

So my book is very long. It's taken forever! So if you ever want to read wuthering Heights I suggest you don't read this. It just might ruin the whole book. So I hope you have enough self control to not keep reading.

So Cathrine died. She got all depressed and her hubbie and heathcliff chatted with her because she kinda turned a bit mad again. Then a couple of days later she died in child birth. So the book skipped along and Edgar named the little girl Cathrine. (It gets confusing because you sometimes don't know who there talking about) But they call her Cathy. So about 13 years pass by and she's spoiled rotten but really sweet at the same time. So she isn't allowed out of Grange (their land)
So at about 13 she gets so curiouse about what's out there and why there was a light on the far hill. She takes her pony and runs to it. But they don't know. They eventually realize that she's missing. They guess she's at Wuthering Heights so they run there. And she is ( no surprise)
She meets a weird, charming young man. They chat, and when Mrs. Dean comes along, she throws a fit and then offends the guy. (he's about 18) Then it turns out they're cousins. (Cathrine's brother had a child)
It was kinda a good thing that Mr. Heathcliff wasn't there, but since Cathrine died he never was the same. Before she died she told heathcliff that he was part of her soul and that he also broke it. So when she died, he was heart broken and angry and told her to haunt him for the rest of his life. He kinda cursed her. So I'm guessing that's who haunts the house.

So I haven't blogged all week (Unfortunately) but I've been a bit busy. I didn't have a class on wensday to do it so i have to do it all this weekend. I've been highland dancing and doing volleyball and bible study and piano so every night this last weekend I've done something. So I've been told that we are going to zones for volleyball, but last game I got switched from power to middle. So I'm a little confused on what I'm suppost to be doing because I've played power for almost 3 years now. And then in the middle of the game I got switched. I'm sure I'll be fine, I just need a practice figure out where i'm suppost to go.

Thanksgiving

Well I am very happy for this long weekend. I get to sleep in! I love sleeping in. I hate waking up in the morning. And also we get to eat turkey and mashed potatoes and PUMPKIN PIE! I love pumpkin pie. But then on tuesday we have to go back to school. Oh well at least we got a long weekend.
I am greatly disliking this cold weather. It hasn't snowed yet, but it's coming. It just keeps getting colder and colder. And DARK. It gets dark at eight every night. AHAAHAAH I really don't like winter.. :)

Wuthering Heights AGAIN

Well I have to say, I've never taken so long on a book EVER. But I have been very busy lately so I haven't read much.
So Egar's sister Isabella ran away with Heathcliff. They got married and left. But Heathcliff doesn't even like her. She doesn't know it, but everyone else does. So he's basicly lying to her. So they left and then Cathrine turns all crazy. She goes mad and her mind is wierd and she talks giberish so Egar is all worried.

Volleyball Tournament

I had another volleyball tournament this weekend. We lost every single game this weekend (sigh) .. everyone keeps telling our team that we cheer the loudest, but we have to, to make up with all the games we loose. One girl had a overhand serve so hard that the ball left imprints on my arm! I am trying every single practice to perfect my overhand, but I still can't quite get it. I'll keep trying though.

hmm.. I've kinda run out of things to talk about. This blogging thing is a little hard sometimes. We can write whatever, but then I never know what to write about. Umm.. i'll write about the new Eragon book! I've read about half of it and it's amazing. If you haven't read it yet, don't read the rest of this :) so Eragon and Roran have rescued Katrina, and battled Thorn and Murtaug, but the elves helped him so he didn't die, but Eragon passed out so they flew away. Anyways, i've been reading nonstop, so I should be sone soon. I really hope he and Ayra fall in love.

Volley Ball

So i'm pretty sure everyone is posting about this but I will too. Our junior girls v-ball team won one game and lost to this last weekend.We have another tournament coming up next weekend so were gonna be practicing hard for that one. We played great though. Even though we lost our last game, it was amazing.

If anyone knows Calvin and hobbes, you'd understand this quote. But for you who don't, it's about a 6 year old boy(Calvin) and his tiger(hobbes). Hobbes isn't acually real, but in calvin's perspective, he is. Usually they show Hobbes alive, but when someone see's him other than Calvin, he's a teddy.

So I think this quote is basicly saying who would think of a crazy thing like milk? It probley was invented some other way, but still. You would have to be pretty daring to drink that milk.

I also have to research some invention that was made fun of at first, but then after it turned out to be huge. so I researched eyeglasses. The first person to invent glasses would have to be pretty blind. How wierd would he (or she) be walking down the street wearing glasses? He would be look pretty stupid. He was also made fun of. But look at were we are now! Alot of people are wearing them, and you don't really even notice anymore.

Withering Hieghts #3

So Heathcliff has disapeared and Cathrine Linton is now with her fiance Edgar. A couple 3 years pass and then he turns up out of know where. They chat and he is staying at the old wuthering heights with his brothers. Now in the begging of the book it said that Heathcliff owns Withering Heights and is very rich. I don't know how he got rich because when he left he was very poor. He didn't take anything with him so he didn't have any money. Now he's back and will never be the same aperently.

Wuthering Heights #2

So i've gotten a lot further since last time. Now the story is basicly about a girl called Cathrine and a boy called Heathcliff.    Cathrine has 2 brothers and a father. The father took Heathcliff in and the brothers never really liked him much but Cathrine and him became best friends. They grow up together and go spy on a house. But then they get caught a dog bites Cathrine's ankle. She stayed at the house for about two months. She comes back a different person. So after a while she gets engaged. But she loves Heathcliff. She doesn't care too much about him, and she's a spoiled brat and wants the money. So she marries a rich man so she doesn't have to live in the house her brothers and Heathcliff are living in now. 

Wuthering Heights

I'm reading an old classic called Wuthering Heights. It is very interesting, but very confusing. It's all written in old style english so I don't understand all the words but that's why you keep a dictionary close by.
So it starts out with a guy moving in to an house. (All the events work there way backwards) People tell him storys (mrs. Dean) and he stays at his landlords house (who is very strange and rude) and gets caught in a storm so he has to spend the night. He ends up reading part of Cathrine's diary. Then mr. Heathcliff's(the landlord's) dead wife comes to him in the night, wanting to come in out of the storm in the middle of the night. I am only on chapter 7 so far but he left and went to his house. It was published first on 1847 and was written by Emilly Bronte.
When I read a little more i'll keep on posting.

Hey, I'm back ( woot woot).. Well this time my blog shall be about EDWARD CULLEN! and if you don't know who he is, shame on YOU!  He is by far the hottest guy in the whole entire world and the whole entire book world... so it's Bella's boyfriend/husband  and I love him..  but the books are fantastic. Unforchanitly, he's a vampire(sigh) but that doesn't matter.      So i greatly encourage you to read the books. They are the best books EVER and you will love them. Don't be turned off for the fact that there about a vampire, JUST READ THEM!!  hee hee    ttyl
